Happier safer years
Why was he a hero? He just sat there and steered a plane for 33 hours. What's clever in that? Steve Fossett circumnavigated the WHOLE WORLD nonstop in 2005 which took 67 hours solo. More than twice the time of Lindberg. Wasn't he more of a hero?
Did we miss Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl?
I tuned in for something groundbreaking on Fleming. Hmm, Why analyze brilliance. I worked in the operations sector of the RAN, ferried SAS on night operations, and did coast watch patrols through the extensive Great Barrier Reef. Fleming was what has sadly disappeared in the current age: a man's man. Enjoy the work it is better than the movies. We all have a little James Bond in us.
Washes hands before handling food, then grabs the trash can lid to dispose of the paper towel....
at 42:43, the greatest tennis player of them all - Steffi Graf 🎉🎉🎉
Wonderful! Brings back memories of my childhood.1958 boy! where the fuck are you ?
MAGGIE THATCHER WAS RONALD REGANS POODLE
To think that two of the greatest champions in Wimbledon and tennis history were not there. Williams and Williams would dominate all those female players.
My lovely route. I wasn't at Westbourne Park for long 84 to 86 but I was assigned this route after managing to get a transfer from the №7s. Brough was my conductor a Barbadian by birth and very quick on the bells which is what you wanted as a driver especially for the compulsory white bus stops.
He may not have won as many times as other champions, but Wimbledon knew how much "they" recognised and respected Rod Laver. As you entered the men's change room on a wall opposite was a photo of Rocket and the four years he was the winner, underneath it said - Champion. Nothing else.
i was born in 1984 🤣
Take me back to the 80s.....you can keep everything afterwards.
but no internet or youtube!
Who’d ever have imagined that forty years later athletics training would include a full gender transition…. Thanks again for all your work on this channel and keep it coming please.📚🙏
I love Borg forever❤
President ruto should watch this documentary
This is very emotional to watch seeing all these wonderful champions that I love and remember watching for so many years.

Roger Federer is my favorite tennis player.
You must be Bjorn Again. You cannot be Sirius.
Clive James would leave the BBC after his New Year's Eve 1994 show, and move to ITV, where his show slide down the ratings and lost it's appeal.
cash chewing is really out of place
Lovely & Sad at the same time
28.00- The other players plainly idolise Rod Laver, and rightly so.

Not at present but I wouldn't rule out the possibility.
@@vhswonderland5821 how do you get these clips? I was a kid in the studio twice and I still haven't got a recording of one episode in 1995. Thanks
This was someone recording the cartoons and not necessarily the programme itself.
